It’s a portal connecting you to over 225,000 like-minded, high-achieving high school and collegiate members locally and around the world. When you join DECA, you gain access to a network of more than 5 million alumni leaders, graduates, executives, and entrepreneurs who have experienced the DECA life over the last 76 years.

Join A Chapter

Competitive Events
DECA’s competitive events are industry-validated and align with the National Curriculum Standards. Through competition, Washington DECA prepares students to be college and career ready, and also brings recognition and prestige to Washington state as one of the top performing associations in the world.
Scholarships
Each year Washington DECA awards over $90,000 in scholarships to our student members. This is in addition to the quarter-million in scholarships available through international DECA.
One way DECA invests in our community and economy is through merit and need-based scholarships to help launch emerging leaders in entrepreneurship, marketing, finance, hospitality, and management.
Senior Management Academy
Calling all DECA Seniors! Join us for the academy that prepares YOU for your FUTURE.
The Senior Management Academy features workshops and sessions around topics to help prepare you for your future career: leadership, management, financial literacy, career skills, and opportunity to learn more about different industries.

State Officers
Washington DECA State Officers are elected by their peers and represent Washington’s membership. The State Officer team develops a Program of Leadership for the year that aligns with the strategic goals of Washington DECA. Throughout the year, the team interacts with DECA members to implement and enhance Washington DECA’s programs.
State Officers are also available to meet and visit with your DECA chapter as well as attend your events.
