In a world where access opens boundless possibilities, Washington DECA stands committed to proactively crafting business and leadership opportunities for high school students, laying the foundation for their success in school, careers, and life. Washington DECA is on a mission to prepare emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management through a combination of classroom education, competitive events, and community projects.
Ignite the Future is more than an event; it’s a convergence of philanthropy and merriment, weaving a tapestry of support and belief in the boundless potentials of our students.
Youth Equity Scholarship (YES) Fund
As passionate champions of equal opportunity, we proudly developed the YES Fund—an initiative dedicated to providing financial support for students who might otherwise be unable to participate in DECA programs. From enhancing academic achievement and smoothing the path to college, to building confidence in their career journeys, the YES Fund is designed to uplift and empower.
Since its launch in 2019, the YES Fund has raised nearly $400,000, enabling us to support 40 chapters with transportation, housing, and scholarships for student participation. Despite this progress, the demand continues to surpass the resources we’ve been able to raise.
