Visionary Scholarship

Founded by Team Envision in 2019, this State Officer scholarship initiative recognizes members who have made exceptional strides in their leadership and extracurricular activities while working for the benefit of their community, including efforts to advance diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging in their schools and communities.

In the words of Vince Lombardi, “Leaders aren’t born, they’re made.” We hope to recognize the exceptional contributions of WA DECA members while building tomorrow’s leaders.

Applications will be accepted through January 18, 2024 at 5:00 p.m.

Winning recipients will be announced during the SCDC Opening Session on February 29. The scholarship amount will cover ONE conference registration fee. Scholarship recipients can apply their award to one (1) of the following conferences.

  • SCDC 2024 registration
  • ICDC 2024 registration to attend a Leadership Academy

Scholarship money is awarded as a reimbursement, once (1) the student has submitted a Thank You Letter of appreciation to the Washington DECA HQ Office, and (2) conference registration has been paid. When this criterion has been met, a check will be mailed directly to the student’s chapter.
